Wool Crazy Sew Along: Base for block 1

I worked on the base for the block and was able to get it laid out. Next, I need to baste it to the muslin and then start to add applique to it.

paulette said...: It looks wonderful!! Whatever you do, don't baste the batting on now - it is way too thick and too difficult to do!! Put it on the muslin and start your stitches.

Penne said...: I totally agree with Paulette about not basting it to the batting right now. It makes it to difficult to embroidery through all those layers. It is best to do your applique and embroidery on the wool basted to your muslin or whatever you use under the wool as the base.
